Meet The Coaches

Linda Loehndorf

In addition to coaching the team since 1980, Linda has been a master swimmer and has judged the sport as a national & international judge, including judging the 2012 Olympics, 2009 & 2017 World Championships, 2015 Pan American Games, 2016 Olympic Qualifier and many other international meets. Recently, Linda has spent the past five years as an World Aquatics Judge Evaluator. Linda served as President of USA Artistic Swimming from 2016-2020 and was the recipient of USA Artistic Swimming's highest award, the Lillian McKellar Award for Distinguished Service in 2020.

Heidi Lurenz

Heidi has been coaching MFD since 2004 and is a Physical Therapist by profession. She coaches a Masters Team and is a national & international judge having judged World Cups and Pan American competitions. Heidi is active within the national organization on the rules and masters committee and is currently the North Zone Admin Chair.

Megan Loehndorf

Megan swam with MFD from a very young age through her college years in addition to being a competitive swimmer. She has been coaching since 2005 and is a Zone Level judge. Megan is a Technical Controller for the sport and a World Aquatics Synchronization Controller.

Erica Rasmussen

Erica was a MFD swimmer who was a competitive swimmer, as well. She swam in college, coached competitive swimming and is a National Judge for USAAS. Erica is an elementary school teacher.
